Get the Answers to Common Questions

The Student Visa (Subclass 500) allows international students to study full-time in Australia at primary/secondary schools, vocational training, universities, or other institutions, and permits family members to accompany them.

The Visitor Visa allows you to visit family, friends, or tour Australia (including cruises) for up to three months, study or train briefly, but not for business or medical purposes; a Student Visa is recommended for primary study motives.

A Partner Visa allows the spouse or de facto partner of an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or eligible New Zealand citizen to live in Australia, either temporarily (Subclass 820/801) or permanently (Subclass 309/100), depending on the application stage and location.

The Temporary Graduate Visa (Subclass 485) allows international students who have recently graduated from an Australian educational institution to stay and work in Australia temporarily, with two streams: Graduate Work (up to 18 months) and Post-Study Work (2-4 years, depending on qualification).
