Nursing and Midwifery

Even before coronavirus, Federal Government data showed that health care and social assistance was the fastest growing industry in Australia. Post covid, this industry is believed to emerge as one of the most stable ones. The demand for well-trained nurses in Australia shows no signs of slowing and it is estimated that Australia will require more than 100,000 nurses by 2025 hence, the need to look for overseas nurses.

Due to strong demand, registered nurses (including those in medical practice and aged care) and nurse practitioners are included in Australia’s Skilled Occupations List (SOL) and Consolidated Sponsored Occupation List (CSOL). This reflects the ongoing need for qualified professionals in the healthcare sector. Graduates can look forward to building a stable and rewarding career in nursing within Australia.

Bachelor of Nursing

After completion of this course, students will be licensed, registered nurses. The course teaches essential skills in clinical assessment and decision making, person-centered care and equips students with an extensive set of skills to work as a general or mental health nurse. It will provide an opportunity to deliver care in multiple health care, industry, and community settings, in complex environments of healthcare systems.

To be eligible to enroll for this program, students must have completed twelve years of academic education or equivalent and an English score equivalent to seven in each band in IELTS (popular choice PTE sixty-five in each band) as per the requirements of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
